The company announced that its document imaging business received awards from Document Manager Magazine and Better Buys for Business for raising the bar for desktop and work group document scanning. Active Network Inc (NYSE:ACTV) fell 3.29% at $4.11 after trading 1.3 million shares. The company is a provider of organization-based cloud computing applications serving a range of customer groups, including business solutions, community activities, outdoors and sports. Early this month the company announced that it had transitioned one of the largest YMCA customers, the YMCA of greater San Antonio, from Class software to ACTIVE Net, a cloud-based solution that would enhance operational efficiency, better engage members and improve participation through better online access to activities. Institutions own 70% of the stock which trades at a market cap of $250 million. It traded the last in the range 4.1 on dollars-$17.25.

BroadSoft Inc (NASDAQ:BSFT) shot up 6.96% to $26.89 after trading 1.2 million shares. The company is the leading provider of software and services that enable mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to offer Unified Communications over their Internet Protocol, or IP network. Earlier this month, the company announced its UC-One™ IMS, a comprehensive fixed-mobile convergence solution that separates communication devices from service subscriptions for enterprises. UC-One IMS enables mobile operators to broadly enter the higher margin enterprise market segment by providing a single subscription for an employee’s Unified Communication needs. Stocks of Broadsoft and its peers have been lifted by news of Oracle Corp’s acquisition of Acme Packet and Tekelec.
